Photographer captures Rare moment International Space Station passes in front of moon

This is pretty much the photograph of a lifetime! (Click link below for image, courtesy of Sky News)

As a photographer, you dream of shots like this one coming along, and Ken Lawson – a Photographer from Australia, waited an incredible 8 years to this amazing shot.

Finally his chance came, and grabbing his Canon 5D mark IV, he snapped this iconic image of the largest man-made object in space.

Capturing it in front of the moon is akin to capturing a solar eclipse, which is to say – quite rare.

Congratulations to Ken on a great image – it was definitely worth the wait!
