Lost in Northumberland – On the road to Ingram Valley

Black and white landscape of Ingram Valley and Northumberland National Park

As a Photographer, if you get lost in Northumberland, don’t worry.

There’s always something to photograph.

I took this shot at the side of the road on my way to Embleton in Northumberland, and it shows the hills and peaks beyond Edlingham Castle.

You may be wondering why I was at Edlingham when I was heading to Embleton?

Well, it certainly wasn’t because I was lost….

That would mean, having to admit to the wife-to-be that I couldn’t get to Embleton with my eyes closed, and that I didn’t always concentrate on where I was going…

I intended to come this way.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
